Soil Stockpile ii = 5,000± cu. Yds. Misc. and insitu soils = 500 - 1,000 yards. Total onsite soil is estimated to be 8,600-9,000± cu.yds. - or sufficient to meet the reclamation requirement. Revegetation requirement total = 14.5± acres utilizing the revised mixture as attached. The reclamation planning and design is further clarified to show permanent roads, agricultural scalehouse area (area 1), and farm equipment and agricultural materials stockpile area (area 2). The roadways, scalehouse operations area and farm storage area will be covered by roadbase to a minimum depth of 4 inches. An existing seep will be maintained as shown as area C. The seep channel forms and will retain a near trapezoidal shape with an approximate three foot bottom at varying depths to the extent necessary to maintain positive flows to the point of exit where waters continue to St. Vrain Creek through established drainage ways. The waters and drainage are pre-existing and the new seep segment will essentially assure continued flows through a channel whose volume exceeds incoming culvert sizes and nominal flows. Finally, for clarification, the St. Vrain Sanitation District has plant operations to the northeast of the permit location. Area E is a 50± wide area set aside for the existing access and maintenance of this system by St. Vrain Sanitation District. The area will not be soiled or vegetated to accommodate this system and District access and related activities. We trust our reply adequately addresses the concerns of the Office.
