(3) All chemical and physical laboratory analyses shall be conducted by a laboratory using approved and <br />standardized procedures. The Division may require the applicant to collect duplicate or split samples for submission <br />to the division and later analysis. In specific instances the Division may require that analyses be conducted by a <br />mutrrallyagreed upon independent laboratory. <br />(4) All water quality samplinp and laboratory analyses shall be conducted in accordance with the current edition <br />of "Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater", or die methodology in 40 CFR 136 and 434 <br />"Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater" is a joint publication of the American Public <br />Health Association, the American Water Works Association, and the Water Pollution Control Federation and is <br />available from the American Public Health Association, 1015 Fifteenth Street, NW, Washungton, D.C. 20036. This <br />document is also available for inspection at the Division's Denver office. <br />This publication is hereby incorporated by reference as it exists on the date of adoption of these regulations. This rule <br />does not include later amendments to or editions of the incorporated material. Certified copies of the material area <br />available at cost upon request. The Division director can provide further information regarding how the incorporated <br />material may be obtained or examined. <br />RESPONSE <br />All chemical and physical laboratory analyses presented in this permit revision application were conducted by <br />companies listed under paragraph 6 of this rule, using approved and standardized procedures.
