The subject of the <br />bond release is a release from liability and reclamation bond for areas where it has been <br />demonstrated that vegetation has been successfully established and that suspended solids <br />contributions to runoff or streamflow outside the permit area do not exceed pre-mining <br />levels. This includes Areas 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 15, 16, 19, 23, and 29 within the mine site <br />encompassing approximately 51.05 acres. The current permit area is located within <br />Sections 25 and 36 of Township 3 North, Range 64 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, <br />Weld County, Colorado. The permit area is located seven miles north of Keenesburg, <br />Colorado, and is accessed by Weld County Road 59. <br />As required by Colorado law, whenever bond release is requested, all interested or <br />affected parties with a valid legal interest must be notified and afforded the opportunity to <br />comment or request an informal conference on the bond release in accordance with Rule <br />3.03.3 of the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal <br />Mining. <br />MAR 23 2010 <br />©ivition of Rsclamaum <br />Min+ng'and S <br />Coors Energy Company Keenesburg Mine Page 1 <br />Phase 11 Bond Release Notification March 2010
