EXHIBIT S
PERMANENT MAN MADE STRUCTURES
Stevens Lake Road crosses the subject property and excavation in not
anticipated to be closer than 50 feet from said road way. A surface and a buried
power line lies near the property to the northeast and are built about 30 feet from
the edge of the proposed pit boundary which falls on the edge of the 70 foot
easement for said lines. An existing 20 foot non-exclusive access easement road
lies along the northern limits of the parcel and ties into the Stevens Lake Road.
This easement road will not be disturbed by the pit. A 25 foot buffer is being held
around the entire perimeter of the site in which no significant excavation will
occur.
No other manmade structures fall within the bounds of the site or within 200 feet.
Two unoccupied water line easements fall within the bounds of the proposed pit
as shown on the survey plat. Contact will be made with the Pagosa Area Water
and Sanitation District (PAWS) concerning said easements and a request will be
made to vacate them. Should the request be denied, then the easements will
remain in place but are not anticipated to be utilized during the life of the mine.
Page 48
