An application for a
Conditional Use Permit (CUP) has been submitted to the Archuleta County Land Use
Office.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Air Pollution Control
Division will require a fugitive particulate air pollutant emission notice (APEN)/control
plan. A copy of said notice will be provided when received.
Fugitive Particulate Emission Permits are issued for site-specific activities, such as
mining, storage of materials, haul road activities, etc. Any processing equipment,
such as a crusher, screen, concrete batch plant, or asphalt plant is considered to be
portable and requires a separate permit application, Air Pollution Emission Notice,
and filing fee.
A Storm Water Management Plan will also need to be filed for this site and a copy will
be provided when complete.
Page 32
