EXHIBIT E - Reclamation Plan 1,791 The existing mining operation (#M-80-248) is permitted for
20.91 acres of affected area. This property has been mined out.
There are active materials storage piles within the excavations
from which Moffat County will continue to operate: its maintenance
.program. From west to east, as the stockpiles are reduced,
Moffat County will reclaim the affected area as designated under
the existing reclamation plan. That plan is incorporated into
this reclamation plan by reference, with the following additions:
For the existing and the amended plans, which total 40.91
acres, Moffat County will slope the sides of the excavations to a
4 to 1 (horizontal to vertical) grade, or flatter. They will
apply topsoil to the sloped areas to a depth of 10" to 14". The
topsoil will be seeded with alfalfa, and/or with other dry crop
seed of the landowner's choice. Moffat County will be eligible
for reclamation release after a successful crop harvest.
The post-mining use of the land will return to the pre-
mining use of dry crop agriculture.
There will be no waste-rock dumps, tailing impoundments,
underground mine openings or buildings to address.
Moffat County will leave a graded and drained access road
on the reclaimed property, and/or a small stock water
impoundment in the ephemeral drainage, if the landowner requests,
otherwise, the total property will be reclaimed according to this
plan.
