Permit No. M-1983-194, Technical Revision No. 29 PreliminaryAdequacy Review.
Dear Mr. Marshall:
Natural Soda, Inc. (NSI) has received the preliminary adequacy review, and will
address these issues below. The following information pertaining to operational data
is confidential.
1) The temperature of the barren liquor injected in the DVPW will not exceed
300° F, with typical temperatures ranging from 180° F to 250° F. Pyrolisis of
the surrounding maristone will not occur at these temperatures and they are
well below the pyrolisis temperatures required to convert kerogen.
2) NSI plans to begin drilling this well by midyear 2010. The operational life of the
DVPW is expected to be up to five years.
If you need any additional information, please contact me at (970) 254-1224 or (970)
216-1010 (c).
Regards,
erald J.
