These mining activities are located on lands approximately 7 miles southwest of Hayden,
CO within portions of Sections 28, 29 and 32 of T6N,. R 87W and all or portions of Sections 5,
8,16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 29 and 30 of T5N, R 87W. It is our understanding that the above `
referenced renewal application would not incorporate additional lands into the permit area or
otherwise alter previously approved conditions or mitigation measures. CDOW has previously
commented on this project and has no additional concerns with this application.
We have appreciated the opportunity to work together with Seneca Coal Company to benefit
wildlife.
