CONSTR
%
7090 W. Hwy. 160 AtMOM C0- $1101 (7'19)589-%71
REVISED EXHIBIT D
MINING PLAN
EXHIBIT D 1 of 2
(A) Mining in each phase of operation is the same and consists of removing vegetation
and burning excess brush. Stripping will only occur in areas to be mined
immediately. Sand will be removed using Rubber -tire loaders, track dozer,
scrapers or excavators as necessary. Material will be removed from the site using
over - the -road haul trucks i.e. Belly dumps, side dumps, end dumps. Screen
processing may occur on -site on an as needed basis to classify sand, and /or
screen out deleterious material.
(B) Earthmoving shall be accomplished using dozers, scrapers or excavators to move
the material and rubber -tire loaders to load trucks.
(C) No water diversion or impoundment's are necessary for this operation.
(D) The total area to be worked at any one time will be less than 3 acres.
(E). There is no definite timetable at which this project will be finished. The amount of
material that is available could last many years depending on local market
conditions and projects that are available to us. The operation will be an
intermittent operation.
(i). Each phase is estimated to be 10 years
(ii). The size of Phase I reclamation will be 19.57 acres, Phase II
reclamation will be 35.92 acres and Phase III will be 33.89 acres
(iii). The sequence in each phase is the same and is as follows:
1. Work on each phase will proceed from South to North
2. Remove vegetation on areas to be mined immediately
3. 3 to 1 back slope will be maintained throughout mining in each phase
4. Mined areas will be re- seeded within 12 months
(F) (i). All material above adjacent land elevations will be removed before
expanding Phase I. At the operator option excavation may begin to create
a depression in Phase I with 3:1 side slopes to a maximum depth of 15'
below adjacent ground. If groundwater is encountered above the 15'
depth, the excavation will cease and remain at a depth not to expose
ground water. Back slopes shall be constructed to 3H:1 V as mining
progresses. Preliminary excavations indicate soil types are consistent to
the 15' depth and no ground water was encountered.
