No adverse comments were received during the publications or during the public comment period, which
ended on March 15, 2010. We did receive two agency comments, which are attached hereto for your
information.
Decision Date
The decision date is currently set for April 1, 2010. All adequacy responses must be received prior to that
date to allow time for their review. If the application is not adequate for approval by the close of business on
the decision date the application may be denied. If additional time is needed to prepare and submit the
responses, you may submit a written request for extension to this office prior to the decision date.
As always, two copies of all materials must be provided to the Division. These may be submitted directly to
me at the Division's Durango field office: 691 CR 233, Room A-2, Durango, CO 81301. I will arrange the
pre-operation inspection directly with Matt Carnahan of Four Corners Materials, and will send you a copy of
the report. Please contact me if there are any questions.
Sincerely,
Bob Oswald
Environmental Protection Specialist
Encl: agency comments
C(w/encl): Matt Carnahan, Four Corners Materials, Bayfield
Peter Kearl, United Companies, Grand Junction
Steve Shuey, DRMS
(CA10-03 docs\cugnini am-2 par/rco)
