March 3, 2010
Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman St., Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
RE: 112 Annual Fees and Report
To Whom It May Concern:
The southwest area indicated on the map was planted late spring and established a
growth. The area along the east side has been back sloped and leveling has taken place.
The topsoil in the southeast corner has been pilled separate from the overburden for
anticipated placement. The overburden has been used to grade and back slope as mining
has progressed.
Material inventory changes with demand as noted on the map compared to the
previous year. The crushing spread has been enlarged to increase production for an
asphalt project to start in mid April. This also allows the plant to be portable and operate
for a shorter period of time through out the ,year.
An additional French drain was installed at the northwest end of the pit to alleviate the
impounding of water draining from stockpiles of the wash plant as noted on the map.
Thank you,
Rick Noland
President
Noland Inc.
