<br />At a regular mee ing of the Board of County Commissioners for the Grand County,
<br />Colorado, held at the Cogt House in Hot Sulphur Springs on Tuesday, the 9'" day of March,
<br />2010, there were present:

<br />when the following proceedings, among others, were had and done, to wit:
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2010-3- 4
<br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FLINTSTONE GRAVEL & TRUCKING SPECIAL
<br />USE PERMIT FOR A GRAVEL PIT LOCATED IN THE NE'/. OF SECTION 32,
<br />TOWNSHIP 2 NORTH, R,4,NGE 76 WEST OF THE 0 P.M., GRAND COUNTY,
<br />COLORADO
<br />WHEREAS, Flintstone Gravel & Trucking, Inc., (hereinafter referred to as the
<br />"Permitter"), has applied for a Special Use Permit to allow for a gravel pit located on 100.27
<br />acres in the NE'/. of Section 32, Township 2 North, Range 76 West of the a P.M.; and
<br />WHEREAS, the application is in compliance with the Grand County Zoning Regulations
<br />and Grand County Master Plan; and
<br />WHEREAS, public notice stating the time and place of the public hearing was sent by
<br />Certified Mail Return Receipt to all property owners within 500' of the proposal and the Town of
<br />Granby, and notice was placed in the Middle Park Times at least 20 days prior to the scheduled
<br />public hearing; and
<br />WHEREAS, this Board considered the testimony during the public hearing and the
<br />recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Department; and
<br />WHEREAS, the Board reviewed the exhibits and testimony presented at the January 26,
<br />2010 public hearing, has considered the purpose of the Master Plan, the obvious public need for
<br />the gravel pit in the County, the conditions of the surrounding neighborhood, the
<br />recommendation of the Grand County Planning and Zoning Department, and has determined that
<br />it is in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Grand County to
<br />approve the Special Use Permit upon the terms and conditions set forth in the attached Exhibit
<br />"A", for a three (3) year period to expire January 26, 2013; and.
<br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the
<br />County of Grand, State of Colorado, that the Flintstone Gravel & Trucking Special Use Permit
<br />shall be and hereby is granted a three (3) year Special Use Permit for a gravel pit to be located on
<br />property known as the Pickering Family Pit, a 100.27 acre parcel of land in the NE '/, of Section
<br />32, Township 2 North, Range 76 West of the 6's P.M., Grand County, Colorado, under the terms
<br />and conditions set forth in the attached Exhibit "A", which is incorporated by reference as if set
<br />forth in full herein, for a period to expire January 26, 2013.

<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners is
<br />authorized to sign the Special Use Permit Renewal.
