The effective date of all information in this <br />report is March 8, 2010. Please refer to the attached Annual <br />Report Map for the location of areas discussed in this report. <br />This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary Cessation and it HAS <br />operated more than 180 days this year. This permit was amended in <br />2006 to add construction of a slurry wall to the permit and the <br />current bond is $494,300.00. <br />We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report <br />requirements as outlined in Rule 1.15 of the Rules and Regulations. <br />(1) We continued to remove material stockpiled in previous years <br />and mine material from the bottom of the northern lake areas. <br />Approximately 8.55 ac. was stripped and partially mine on the <br />southern end of the property this year (yellow). <br />(2) Backfilling has continued on the southern mined area where we <br />moved the tailing area (14.68 acres ±). We continued to <br />backfill the north line of the north lake area (2.3 ac.) and <br />the north side of the southern area to its final grade (tan) <br />(6.80 acres). Gravel mining is now done on the east lake of <br />the northern area (mustard). <br />(3) We will continue to mine on the southern part of the permit <br />area and work to a point just north of the slurry wall. We <br />may disturb an additional 5.0 ac.± south of the partially <br />mined area. <br />(4) We will continue to backfill the tailings area (14.68 ac±) in <br />the southern area. Slope reconstruction will begin in the <br />northeast lake area this year with some of the material coming <br />from the shale on the bottom of the mined area to help seal <br />the area.
