Please
elaborate on how the Worthing Pit will eventually fit into this drainage scheme.
3) The proposed normal water line for the Zigan Lake is at an elevation of 4,960 ft. However, the intake structure profile
shown on sheet 9 of 10 appears to indicate that the base of the front wall safety grate will be at an elevation of 4,957 ft.
Will this not cause the lake to stabilize at the 4,957 ft elevation rather than the desired 4,960 ft elevation?
For your records, the section of the TR addressing the material stockpile, which was cited as a problem during the DRMS
inspection of 26 February 2009, has been approved.
Under the Division's 30-day time frame for processing this TR, the decision date is March 26, 2010. If you are unable to
provide a response to these questions by that date, please file a written request for extension of the decision.
You may contact me with questions at (303) 866-3567 x8108.
S' rely,
David Bird
Environmental Protection Specialist
cc: Tony Waldron, DRMS
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
