The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, of the
Colorado Revised Statutes, hereby issues notice that on February 26, 2010, a minor revision
application (MR-13) to the Lorencito Canyon Mine, Permit No. C-1996-084, operated by New Elk
Coal Company, LLC, 122 West First Street, Trinidad, CO 81082 was considered complete for the
purposes of filing. This Minor Revision is updating Section 2.03.4 of the Permit Application. All
reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate
from this date of filing.
