CATS-International is
going to engage a design engineer to assemble a plan. Mine water management both during prospecting
and during mine operations if a permit is obtained was also discussed. In particular, characterization of
Santiago Mine water and potential hydraulic connection with the Waldorf Tunnel, and storage and disposal
of water pumped from the mine were discussed.
It was agreed that a site inspection would be beneficial to the continuing review of the prospecting notice.
The notice will be kept open until the inspection can be conducted after snowmelt.
Cc: Steve Hilgers, CATS-International
c:\acs files\My Documents 4-19-06 thru\santiago mtf 2.doc
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
