Electrically Conductive Fracture Test Borehole Abandonment Plan
At the time of site reclamation, or when the Electrofrac electrically conductive
fracture construction test boreholes are no longer necessary, they will be plugged
and abandoned. The abandonment plan is to cement the full length of the
borehole and any accessible connected fracture system with type G cement.
After cementing, the borehole will be capped. The estimated total abandonment
cost is $5,000.00 per borehole. ExxonMobil currently envisions no more than six
boreholes will required for a total abandonment cost of $30,000.00.
Schematic Diagram for Typical Electrofrac Construction Test
