Computer requirements to use the DBMS document Imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and mist be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD the brat time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase =0 be in the Dii . A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an irinage viewing application for.tif files on your computer tint will handle single and multi--page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or'Taimt" and they do not with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from Irf uiView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView",'it needs to be con$gured as your de&ult .tif viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instructions: 1. Insert the CD into your conputer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD.
