Bowie Resources, LLC
Bowie No. 2 Mine
2009 Annual Hydrology Report
D32-4
Terror Creek - Drainage System
Elevation - 7480
Surface Water
The area of concern for monitoring point D32 -4 has not been affected by the mining operation. Therefore, all recorded
monitoring events are considered Baseline.
The D32-4 Monitoring Point is on upper Terror Creek. It is located at the Cottonwood Stomp ford. This point is used to obtain
conductivity, pH and temperature readings. The irregular stream channel found at this location does not provide an adequate
method of determining flow values. Flow values are taken from the USGS discharge information for station #09132985.
Baseline Information Collection initiated on 10/31197 and not yet considered complete.
Point D32-4 has not been influenced by mining.
Figure No. 96
Bicarbonate
Initiated
N 10/31/1997
10/3111997
10/31/1997
10/31/1997 10/31/1997
Activated
54
2s
Chloride
Date
N 10/26/2009
8/27/2009
7/8/2009
5/14/2009 3/20/2009
Summary Information
<MDL
1
Conductivity
Baseline
Operation
350.0
UNITS
Min Ave Max
Min Ave Max
6:
Hardness
Flow CFS
0.16 6.78 75.80
173.3
ice
4.6
3.3
16 2.5
FieldComment
49
2f
Nitrate - Nitrite
Hmg/L
<MDL
ph su
7.1 8.0 8.6
1
8.3
8.6
8.2
8.2
Conductivity umhos /cm
20 99 208
190
120
120
60
Temperature Celsius
1.2 11.3 19.0
21
18.51
13.3
13.1
<MDL
H
6.6
7.3
8.3
p410 E7 UNITS
8.3
8.1
f
The area of concern for monitoring point D32 -4 has not been affected by the mining operation.
