Private minerals within the permit <br />area encompassed 1,957 acres with Federal minerals accounting for the balance of 3,908 <br />acres. <br />After this revision the Bowie No. 2 Mine permit will contain 8,301 acres of land, 4,637 acres <br />of private surface and 3,664 acres of Federal surface.
