Method of Minin : Briefly explain mining method (e.g. truck/shovel): Stripping of topsoil, extraction of the resource, stock- <br />piling, and hauling will be accomplished with front-end loaders, dozers, scrapers, backhoe excavators, draglines, and trucks. <br />15. On Site Processing: _X_ Crushing/Screening <br />13.1 Briefly explain mining method (e.g. truck,shovel): A portable crushing and screening plan will be used onsite. <br />List any designated chemicals or acid-producing materials to be used or stored within permit area: No toxic or acid-producing <br />materials will be used or stored within the permit area or delivered to the mine site. <br />16. Description of Amendment or Conversion: <br />If you are amending or converting an existing operation, provide a brief narrative describing the proposed change(s). <br />The 112 permit boundary is being altered to increase the permitted acreage from 86.6 acres to 174.6 acres. <br />The primary future land use is now a developed water resource (WR). Sand and gravel will be extracted and then stockpiled and processed on site, as a portable cr shing and <br />screening plant will be operated on site. Processed material will be used onsite for the construction of the water storage reservoir as well as tided off-site for sale to the public. <br />Mining will be done continuously until the reservoir is completely excavated. Mining and construction of the reservoir is estimated to take less than sin months to complete. <br />Processing and stockpiling will be ongoing after construction of the reservoir and may last the life of the mine. Reclamation "be concurrent with miring and processing.
