This aggregation process <br />is decried for each property ar quality. <br />Soil Qualities and Features <br />SW qualities am behavior and performance attrwas that are not directly measured, <br />but are irnhwred from observabons of dynamic conditions and from soil properties. <br />Example sod qualities include natural drainage. and frost action- Sol features are <br />attributes ttut are not drec#y pan of the soli- Example sal features irx9ude slope and <br />depth to nestrn?ive layer. These features can greatly impact the use and management <br />of the soil. <br />Map Unit Nature (Tyson) <br />A sal amp unit is a collection of soil areas or nonsoii areas (miscellaneous areas) <br />delineated in a sad survey. Each map unit is given a name drat uniquely identifies the <br />unit in a particular sod survey area. <br />24
