Private minerals within the permit area encompassed 1,957 acres with Federal minerals accounting for the balance of 3,908 acres. After this revision the Bowie No. 2 Mine permit will contain 8,301 acres of land, 4,637 acres of private surface and 3,664 acres of Federal surface. Private minerals will encompass 1,957 acres with Federal minerals accounting for the balance of 6,344 acres.
