There was very little change since the previous readings in October
2007. Water level in piezometer #4 is higher than it was in October. The rest of the water
levels have remained nearly the same. Snow on the slide is four or five feet deep.
• Inclinometers
Yeah and Associates installed four inclinometers on the slide area northwest of Terror Creek
Reservoir in February 2006. The inclinometers have been labeled TCR-01, TCR-03, TCR-
05, and TCR-07. Bowie Resources LLC had previously installed two borings in the slope.
They were labeled BL-101A and BL-102A. Both of these borings contain a TDR cable and a
1" PVC with an inclinometer cable. The cable is crimped above the PVC. The distance from
the top of the PVC to the crimp is measured to determine movement.
All four TCR inclinometers were measured. Neither of the BL installations was measured.
Displacement graphs for the TCR inclinometers have been included with this memorandum.
Each graph depicts incremental displacement along the length of the inclinometer casing.
There are two graphs for each installation. The graph labeled A-Axis represents movement
in the southeast and northwest direction, down slope toward the reservoir. The other graph
labeled B-Axis represents movement perpendicular to the A-axis, roughly parallel with the
0
