The DRMS' letter dated June 12, 2008 transmitted its adequacy response for the referenced
permit revision. On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, following are its responses to the DRMS'
comments and concerns.
1. No response required.
2. No response required. Bowie will appear before the Water Quality Control Division to
have the perched and coal aquifers classified as "Limited Use and Quality'. DRMS
did not respond to the statement that the Rollins Sandstone wll not be impacted by
the mine workings on amended page 2.05-75ii.
3. Partial response presented in letter dated January 30, 2008. The remaining data are
presented in the 2007 annual hydrology report. Upper Terror Creek (D32=4) had a
flow of 1.1 cfs on November 6, 2007. Upper Hubbard Creek (D34-14) had a flow of
6.3 cfs on October 31, 2007.
4. The requested changes were made to the subsidence section and section 2.04.7(3).
A complete subsidence section is enclosed even though only a few pages were
amended.
