Martin <br />Executive Director <br />Re: Pikeview..Q;uarry; Technical Revision Approval; Permit No. M-1977-211; Revision No. TR-14 <br />Dear Mr. Shafer: . <br />On February 19, 2010 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety approved, with one stipulation, the Technical <br />Revision application submitted to the Division on January 15, 2010, addressing the following: <br />Attempt: to stabilize the material below the southern scrap by applying a controlled blast, so that geotechnical <br />investigations could be started to formulate the amended mining and reclamation plan by May 2010. <br />The terms of the Technical Revision No. 14 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-1977- <br />211. <br />The conditions of the Division approval are noted below. Please note that all other provisions of Permit No. M-1977-211 <br />remain in full force and effect. <br />Stipulation No. 1 <br />Transit'Mij will place,the,'new prisms, as recommended by CGS, west of the existing scarps as illustrated in <br />photo # 2 submitted: in response to DRMS'S adequacy letter.
