The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 5 miles northeast of Paonia, Colorado. <br />The permit area is further described as follows: Portions of Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, and 22, <br />Township 13 South, Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. Portions of Sections 33 and 34, Township 12 South, Range 91 <br />West of the 6th P.M. The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of <br />Bowie. <br />No additional surface disturbance is proposed as a result of this revision application. As a result, the Division does <br />not anticipate additional impacts to wildlife. <br />The applicant is required to publish notice in the Delta County Independent that this permit revision application <br />has been deemed complete. At the time of publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to place <br />a copy of this application at the Paonia Public Library, 140 Grand Avenue, Paonia, CO 81428, and at the Division <br />office.
