J J Dudash -2- February 18, 2008
C. Although the analysis results show a basic methodology used in analyzing the
sample (saturated paste extraction, hot water extraction, etc.), the Division would
like a more specific method for each parameter listed (for example, USDA
method x, USEPA method y, etc.).
BRL - Attached are the original laboratory reports which contain the
requested information.
D. There are several constituents that were analyzed that were given a "U" value,
which indicates that the value forthat constituent was less than the method
detection limit (MDL). Although this is standard practice, the Division would like
to know what these MDL's are in order to verify that the MDL is low enough to be
below the suitability level foreach constituent.
BRL - Attached are the original laboratory reports which contain the
requested information.
E. Based on Division inspections, is all of the rock at the Paonia sewage lagoons
really sandstone? If it all is (or at least appears to be) that is fine. If, hoKoever,
there are other rock types, additional samples and analyses may be warranted.
BRL - All of the rock delivered to the Paonia lagoon by BRL was
sandstone or sandstone derived fines. The DRMS is aware that topsoil
was delivered to the site and then subsequently moved to an approved
storage area.
If you have any questions, please call.
Sincerely,
E.
