Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />RE: Bowie No. 2 Mine, Permit No. C-1996-083, Bowie Resources LLC <br />Technical Revision No. 50, Office Parking Lot Expansion, Request for <br />Assistance <br />I am requesting your assistance in the review of the reclamation cost estimate for <br />Technical Revision No. 50 (TR-50) for the Bowie No. 2 Mine. In this revision, Bowie <br />Resources LLC is proposing to expand their mine office parking lot area. Approximately <br />1500 cubic yards of cut and fill, a 150 foot long retaining wall and one culvert will be <br />involved. <br />TR-50 was called complete on October 5, 2007 so the Division's adequacy review letter <br />is due Monday, November 5. I will be in the field from October 23 through October 26 so <br />if you could get your memo back to me by Friday, November 2, that would be great. <br />Attached is one complete copy of the TR-50 submittal, including the operator's <br />reclamation cost estimate.
