. z <br /> III. COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE <br /> Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br /> during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br /> and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br /> General Comments <br /> This was an aerial inspection covering disturbed areas within the mine pits portion of the Yoast permit area. 8 <br /> oblique digital photos were taken by Harry Ranney of the Division during the flight on 1/29/10, and the images <br /> were viewed by Dan Mathews of the Division on 2/03/10. Weather appeared to be clear at the time of the flight. <br /> There was solid cover of fresh snow throughout the reclaimed mine area, with the exception that a portion of the <br /> steep south facing scarp of the Pond 12 slide was exposed. The photos were somewhat over-exposed, which <br /> combined with the solid snow cover, prevented detailed observations. <br /> There was no activity evident and no problems that have not been addressed in previous inspections were <br /> noted. <br /> 3 <br />
