Seneca. Coal Company has submitted an application for successive renewal (RN-3) <br />for the mining and Reclamation permit for the Yoast Mine (Permit # C-1994-082). All review and comment <br />periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules initiate from this date of <br />filing. <br />Seneca Coal Company, LLC proposes to continue Surface coal mining and/or reclamation operations on <br />land located approximately 7 miles Southwest of Hayden, Colorado. The permit area is further described as <br />follows: <br />T6N, R87W, Portions of Sections 28, 29 and 32 <br />T5N, R87W, All of Section 17; Portions of Sections 5, 8, 16, 18, 19, 20, 29, 30 <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Dunckley and <br />Mount Harris. <br />The above referenced permit renewal application would not incorporate additional lands into the permit <br />area or otherwise alter previously approved permit conditions or mitigation measures <br />A copy of the renewal application and the currently approved permit application package is available for <br />public inspection at the Hayden Public Library, 201 E. Jefferson Avenue, Hayden, CO 81639-1813, and at <br />the Division office, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567.
