This excludes security personnel and personnel conducting maintenance or <br />housekeeping, or related activity. This also excludes individuals who are not considered to be engaged <br />in activities which are not significantly moving the site towards completion of the mining operations. <br />We are only required to notify the Division in writing after 180 days or more. Temporary cessation can <br />last for 5 years and can be renewed for an additional 5 years after that period (10 years total). <br />The Topaz Mine was placed under temporary cessation on July 31, 2009. This letter is intended to notify you <br />that active mining has ceased at the above referenced mine and the mine has been placed on temporary <br />cessation.
