A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD <br />the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase =19 be in the l-: anti er . A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the Aif extension. There needs to be an in ile viewing application for.tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Farr Viewer" or'TaW and they do not work with QuickV*w. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from Irf uiView.com, does work with <br />QwckView. After downloading "IrfanView",'it needs to be configured as your default.tif viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse <br />this software and the licensing and registration an the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Instructions: <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />2. Allow time for the CD to install. <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autonm, which runs the QuickView <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autmw program <br />does NOT work, you will need to manually install the Quickview program. <br />Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at vaww.minine.state.co.us. <br />The Pernik File document Images can be viewed In the reception area of the DBMS office or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. <br />The CDIDVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of making the CD.
