The Chinook unit can provide large lifting capacity and can hover the craft and <br />can probe with a lowered cable. This service may be used for situations that require <br />lifting of heavy obstacles in remote locations that cannot be reached by surface vehicles. <br />Medical Advisor and Emergency Protocol: <br />It is planned that Sierra Minerals Corporation will retain the services of a <br />Physician Advisor for the purpose of setting the protocol and limits of the actions of the <br />Emergency Medical Technician on the quarry site in the event of emergency. The person <br />to contact is Dr. Paul Sahnen at 970-945-8503. <br />Hospitals and Medical Clinics: <br />The following are hospitals and medical clinics that serve the Crystal River <br />Valley and vicinity. In general, serious injuries will be evacuated by qualified ambulance <br />and emergency service personnel. Over most of the area covered by this plan, that <br />service will be provided by the Carbondale Fire Protection District and its ambulance. <br />The selection of a receiving medical unit will be made by the EMT or doctor in <br />communication with the EMT on the ambulance, depending upon the situation.
