At this time, we view this as a
temporary closing, hopefully not to exceed 180 days.
As spring approaches, we will probably be performing water discharge and visual reclamation
inspections (i.e. dewatering sumps, boundaries, etc.). The engineering plans to comply with the
Reclamation Board order will be finalized and submitted.
I understand that currently I am the official contact of record. Should a change be made, your office will
be notified.
I have reviewed the Construction Materials Rules & Regulations, Section 1.13.5, as located on your
website (www.state.co.us).
We look forward to working with you this summer in the completion of our engineered containment
area.
Sincerely,
Francois Darmayan
Vice President, Quarries Division
