Having been to the site <br />only one time about 40 years ago, I assume the petroglyphs or Indian writings on the <br />rocks is the site you are referring to. I did not realize these had been listed, as there was a <br />considerable concern some years back that if they were listed people would seek them out <br />and they might end up being vandalized. Our pit is entirely upon private property and <br />should have no effect upon this site. <br />As for site 5ME13044, Highway 141 we should not have any negative effects upon the <br />highway.
