Martin <br />Executive Director <br />The Division received a Technical Revision (TR-03) on January 26th, 2010 submitted by Sean <br />Frisch with Lafarge West, Inc (Lafarge). According to Mr. Frisch, you are currently managing this <br />mine site. There are several issues that will need to be addressed prior to approval of the <br />Technical Revision. The decision date for the Technical Revision is February 25th, 2010. If the <br />decision date arrives and the issues discussed below are not addressed to the Division's <br />satisfaction it will be your responsibility to waive Lafarge's right to a 30 day processing period <br />for a Technical Revision and request an extension of the decision date. If the decision date <br />arrives and there are outstanding adequacy review issues, the Technical Revision will be denied. <br />Please keep in mind the Division will need time to review your response to this letter prior to <br />the decision date. <br />Item #1: Final Lake Configuration <br />1.) According to the narrative, there are five lakes located at the site. The map submitted with <br />the Revision displays eight lakes. Please clarify this discrepancy. <br />Item #2: Map <br />2.) The map submitted essentially is an updated Reclamation Plan Map, thus must conform to <br />the requirements of Rule 6.2.1 (2) and Rule 6.4.6.
