Box 1897 <br />Alamosa, CO 81101 <br />RE: Robins Rock Pit; DRMS File No. M-2009-053; Adequacy Review - 03 <br />Dear Mr. Johnson, <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has identified several other <br />comments and questions that must be addressed prior to the Division's decision due date. Please <br />be advised that if you are unable to satisfactorily address any concerns identified in this <br />review before the decision date, it will be your responsibility to request an extension of the <br />review period. If there are outstanding issues that have not been adequately addressed <br />prior to the end of the review period, and no extension has been requested, the Division will <br />deny this application. <br />6.3.4 Exhibit D - Reclamation Plan <br />1. The Applicant has indicated the pit slopes will be reclaimed at 2H:1 V. Please specify the <br />method of reclaiming the pit walls to this grade. In addition, indicate if the final reclaimed <br />slopes will be benched and if so the approximate dimensions of the benches. <br />2. The Applicant has stated grading will be a part of the Reclamation Plan. As required by Rule <br />6.3.4(2), please specify the volume and push distances of the material to be graded. The <br />Division requires this information in order to calculate the Financial Warranty. <br />3. The Applicant has stated that mulch will be applied by hand and crimped with a light rubber <br />tired vehicle (ATV).
