In reference to your email questioning Bowie's bond:
Bowie had two technical revisions recently requiring additional bonding.
First, TR-45, gob pile #3, was approved and required a $412,958 bond increase. The second
was TR-47, build a ventilation pad in Hubbard Creek. Bond amount was $148,686. Bowie
posted the second bond in order to get started with pad construction. The first one,
TR-45 has yet to be posted but no work has been started on this site. I do have the bond
now and will be sending it in this afternoon.

I did receive the BLM e-mail yesterday afternoon. I have the
information to call it complete today.
However, I am concerned about the bond. It appears that Bowie is
currently underbonded, and in fact from what I can tell Bowie did not
submit the required bond to begin construction on the pad. Currently,
the Division holds $8,055,237.00. The bonding chronology is shown
below.
