The Lorencdo Canyon Mine is a surface coal mine located in Las Ani= mas County, approximately 3 .miles west of Segundo on Hwy 12. Coal interest is 'Private, and the surface affected is Private land. The permit area encompasses approximately 3,142.00 acres. l This proposed decision is based on a finding that the proposed opera- tion will comply with ail requirements of the Crolorado.Surface. Coal Min- ing Reclamation Act, Section-34-33-101, et seq., C.R.S., and the regular tions promulgated thereunder.
