Bird, Environmental Protection Specialist <br />CC: Division 1 Office, District 2 Water Commissioner <br />FROM: loana Comaniciu, P.E. <br />RE <br />L/ <br />Pit 29, Permit No. M-1980-183 <br />Operator: Brannan Sand and Gravel <br />Contact: Brannan Sand and Gravel - 303-534-1231 <br />Section 35, Twp 1 South, Rng 67 West, 6th P.M., Adams County <br />CONDITIONS FOR APPROVAL <br />Brannan Sand and Gravel requested the financial warranty reduction for the Pit 29, Permit no. <br />M 1980-183. <br />The South Cell of the mined area within Pit 29 was -lined with a slurry wall during 2006 and the <br />lining of the South Cell was approved by the Division 1 Office on August 2, 2006 in <br />accordance with the State Engineer Guidelines for Lining Criteria. If a lined pond results, after <br />reclamation replacements of lagged depletions shall continue until there is no longer an effect <br />on stream flow.
