Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Alma Placer, Permit No. M-1985-029, Adjustment to Required Financial Warranty, <br />Revision No. SO-3 <br />Dear Mr. Miller: <br />In response to the letter from Greg Lewicki and Associates, PLLC received in this office on 2 February <br />2010, the Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety has adjusted the required Financial Warranty for <br />the Alma Placer Mine. The required Financial Warranty is now $188,679. <br />The Division currently holds a financial warranty in the amount of $117,386 for the Alma Placer <br />Mine. Within 60 days of the date of this letter, Alma Placer Company LLC must submit an <br />additional $71,293 to bring the total financial warranty held up to $188,679 before the SO can be <br />designated as final. If the successor operator does not provide the required financial warranty by <br />the 60-day deadline (5 April 2010), a letter will be sent to the existing permitted operator with <br />notification of financial warranty increase. <br />For questions pertaining to the financial warranty, please contact Elizabeth Merry at (303) 866-3567 <br />x8148.
