?ovn?Gi? <br />C-8/-old <br />?{?-39 come???e <br />PROPOSED PUBLIC NOTICE <br />ENERGY FUELS COAL, IS TESOUTHFIELD LOADOUT <br />TECHNICAL REVISION N?O..AT37 ER R-37)-TERMINATION OF <br />MONITORING IN OAK CREEK <br />Energy Fuels Coal, Inc. (EFCI) has filed an application <br />with the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br />Safety (DBMS) for termination of water monitoring in <br />Oak Creek which is adjacent to the Loadout,site located <br />approxjmately one, mile west of Florence in premorit' <br />CoUnty,'Colora&o. I was the lessee operator ahtl per- <br />rijittee "4eYPet"i%j¢ -81-014. The surface is owned <br />by Daniel Adamic at al-and the Santa Fe Railroad right of <br />way traverses the length of property. <br />Loading operations ceased in 1996 and the Loadout site <br />was reclaimed in 1997. The purpose of theTechnicai Revi- <br />sion No. 37 is to terminate the water monitoring require- <br />ment of two sample sites located in the Oak Creek <br />drainage which skirts the southwest permit boundary of <br />the west Loadout site. During the tenure of EFCI's Load- <br />out and reclamation operations, water samples collected <br />and analyzed have shown no detrimental effect to the <br />receiving waters of Oak Creek caused by operations at <br />the Loadout site.
