Permit Renewal No. 5, Adequacy Review
Dear Mr. Kiger:
The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has finished its adequacy review of the Permit
Renewal No. 5 application submitted by Oxbow Mining LLC (Oxbow) on behalf of the Terror Creek
Company for the Terror Creek Loadout. The Division has the following questions and comments:
Section 2.03.3, Format and Supplemental Information
Please update the information on permit application page 2.03-2R concerning personnel at the
Terror Creek Loadout.
Section 2.03.4. Identification of Interests
2. Please update the identification of interests information that is required in Sections 2.03.4(l)
through (10) of the permit application, where applicable. The updates should include, but not be
limited to, ownership and control information that is required in Section 2.03.4(3) and (4), the list
of the owners of record of surface areas to be affected and the list of owners of record of the coal
to be mined, as required in Section 2.03.4(6) and the list of the owners of record of the surface and
subsurface areas that are contiguous to the permit area that is required in Section 2.03.4(7).
