10-09-07;12;47PM; <br /> <br />c <br />Public Notice <br />;970 241 1516 # 5/ 5 <br />CAM MINING LLC, P.O. Box 98, Loma, CO 81524, has submitted a complete application <br />for a technical revision to the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety for its Munger <br />Canyon Mine and Loma Loadout, Mining and Reclamation Permit No. CA 981-020. The <br />proposed revision will incorporate figures that show as-built reclamation contours and cross <br />sections into the permit. <br />The Munger Canyon Mine is located approximately 18 miles north of Loma, CO along <br />State Highway 139. East Salt Creek is located on westem portion of the permit boundary. <br />Most of the surface of the permit area is owned by the United States. The permit area is <br />encompassed within portions of Sections 27,28 and 29 of Township 7 South, Range 102 <br />West, P.M. and Sections 2,3 and 4 of Township 8 South, Range 102 West, 6"' P.M. A <br />portion of the permit area in section 29 is owned by #11 Enterprises. <br />The Loma Loadout is approximately one-half mile east of Loma, Colorado. The surface of <br />the permit area is owned by the Union Pacific Railroad. The permit area is encompassed <br />within portions of the SWI/4SWI/4 of Section 34 Township 2 North, Range 3 West, Ute <br />Meridian and Portions of the NEI/4NW'/4 of Section 3 Township 1 North, Range 3 West, Ute <br />Meridian. <br />The mine site sections are contained within the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Howard <br />Canyon and Garvey Canyon Quadrangle maps. The Loadout sections are contained <br />within the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Mack Quadrangle Map. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Mesa <br />County Clerk and Recorder's office, 544 Rood, Grand Junction, CO. A copy of the <br />approved permit application document, as well as the technical revision application, are <br />available at the Denver and Grand Junction offices of the Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety [Room 215, 1313 Sherman St., Denver, CO 80203, (303) 8663567; <br />and '109 South 3ro, Suite 301, Grand Junction, CO 81501, (970) 242-5025). Written <br />comments regarding this application may be submitted to and additional information <br />may be obtained from the Denver office of Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. <br />Phone inquiries should be directed to the Grand Junction office, Written comments <br />must be received by the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety within 10 days after <br />the date of this publication in order to be considered.
