(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-1989-003
INSPECTION DATE: 1/14/10 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: ECS
OBSERVATIONS
This was a routine monitoring inspection for the Raymond Schulte Pit, M-1989-003, a Kit Carson County 112c
sand and gravel permit, conducted by Eric Scott of DRMS. DRMS traveled with Kit Carson Road and Bridge
representative Walt Isenbart to the site, and observed the site with him at approximately 0840. The permit sign
was present although it has been shot several times. Only one permit boundary marker was able to be located.
The permit boundary markers will need to be replaced as appropriate to define the permitted area.
Kit Carson County currently has 49 acres permitted at this location. The site is a 1000' by 2000' area of the dry
South Fork Republican River.
No other issues were observed during this inspection.
Photo 1 - Overview of Raymond Schulte Pit taken near existing stockpile of material looking west.
