(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-1982-067
INSPECTION DATE: 1/14/10 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: ECS
OBSERVATIONS
This was a routine monitoring inspection for the Bledsoe Pit, a Kit Carson County 110c sand and gravel permit,
conducted by Eric Scott of DRMS. DRMS traveled with Kit Carson Road and Bridge representative Walt
Isenbart to the site and observed the site with him at approximately 1015. The permit sign was present although
knocked down. Kit Carson County currently has 9.9 acres permitted at this location although there were several
missing permit boundary markers. The sign should be repaired, and appropriate permit boundary markers
placed to define the extent of the permit area. The county will need to demonstrate with a new map of the site
and replaced boundary markers that they are still within the allowable 9.9 acres.
No other issues were observed during this inspection.
Photo 1 - Bledsoe Pit looking southeast from north end of pit.
