11 <br />POWER OF ATTORNEY <br />KNOW ALL PERSONS BY THESE PRESENTS: <br />THAT ExxON MOBIL CORPORATION, A NEW JERSEY CORPORATION having an office in <br />Irving, Texas, hereby nominates, constitutes, and appoints: <br />TOM L. ADAMS <br />Supervisor, Colony Shale Oil Project, as Agent and Attorney-in-Fact of Exxon Mobil Corporation for <br />purposes of executing and delivering instruments and documents as more particularly described below <br />and does hereby grant, delegate, and invest said individual with power and authority to execute and <br />deliver for, in the name, and on behalf of Exxon Mobil Corporation and in connection with the business <br />and affairs of said Company such reports and other governmental documents as may be required or <br />desired in the conduct of the Company's Colony Shale Oil Project. <br />The stated individual may exercise the power and authority herein granted, delegated and <br />invested, in any particular and appropriate transaction or matter, either as an Attorney-in-Fact of Exxon <br />Mobil Corporation or as an official of said Company. Any action taken as authorized under this Power of <br />Attorney shall be an act of Exxon Mobil Corporation and binding upon it. <br />Certificates of authority evidencing authority in relation to particular transactions or matters may <br />be issued by the Secretary or any Assistant Secretary of Exxon Mobil Corporation and may be relied upon <br />by third parties dealing with Exxon Mobil Corporation. Such Certificates shall certify that, on the dates <br />set out therein, the individual named therein was authorized by this Power of Attorney to execute and <br />deliver the particular instruments or documents described in the Certificate; and that this Power of <br />Attorney was in effect at the time of such execution and delivery. <br />This Power of Attorney supersedes and replaces the corresponding Power of Attorney issued by <br />Exxon Mobil Corporation on April 1, 2008, to R. M. Smith named therein, which is hereby revoked. <br />However, all acts lawfully done or performed pursuant to such prior Power of Attorney by the said R. M. <br />Smith prior to such revocation shall be, and the same hereby are, ratified and confirmed. <br />This Power of Attorney is effective beginning June, 2009, and expires on July 1, 2012. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, David.
