MAIN STREET TRINIDAD, CO 81082-3448 is applying for a <br />Huerfano County Conditional Use Permit (CUP) and a DIVISION OF MINERALS AND GEOLOGY 112c <br />Reclamation Permit for a mining operation on the property in Huerfano County located within "A PARCEL OF <br />LAND IN THE IN THE SOUTH 1/2 OF SECTION 31, AND THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 32, <br />TOWNSHIP 26 SOUTH, RANGE 67 WEST, 6th P.M., COUNTY OF HUERFANO, STATE OF COLORADO". <br />Please see the attached EXHIBIT "H" CDOW SITE PLAN MAP for more detail. <br />The purpose of my letter is to request from your office a wildlife statement giving a description of the game and <br />non-game resources on and in the vicinity of the application area to include the following: <br />(a) a description of the significant wildlife resources on the affected land; <br />(b) seasonal use of the area; <br />(c) the presence and estimated population of threatened of endangered species from either federal or state lists; <br />and <br />(d) a description of the general effect during and after the proposed operation on the existing wildlife of the <br />area, including but not limited to temporary and permanent loss of food and habitat, interference with <br />migratory routes, and the general effect on wildlife from increased human activity, including noise. <br />I have enclosed the EXHIBIT "H" CDOW SITE PLAN MAP and a Wildlife Questionnaire for your information and <br />use. <br />Thank you in advance for your time and consideration on this request.
