Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety
1313 Sherman Street Room 215
Denver, Co.
December 24, 2009
Att: Sandy All of these farms should be put back the way they were before they were mined.
Agriculture is the back bone of this country and has been for generations. To even consider
taking any farm ground and putting it in dry land is absurd. Knowing how these farmers have
always farmed and produced an abundant crop, the "water" issue is just as ridiculous. These
farmers know what it takes to farm their own properties and the Mine seems to be doing
everything they can to get out of their obligations to all of these people as well as to the
community. Put the lands back as they were before the mine entered them and let these people
go on with their lives.
Sincerely,
Scott and Dolores Snyder
